YouTube is not only great for watching funny videos, it is a great resource for learning how to do almost anything. People from all over the world post tutorials on almost every subject you can think of.
I’ve personally used it to learn how to play a couple of songs on my Ukulele. My spouse uses it often to get help with her chemistry homework. However, one my favorite uses of YouTube is to find meditation and spiritual guidance.
My Favorite Meditation YouTube Channels
The cool thing about YouTube is that once you watch some videos, they’ll recommend others that are related to the same topic. That is how I find a lot of cool channels. The two I like most are:
321 Relax has primarily soothing music and sounds. Their videos feature beautiful animated scenery. You can choose between nature sounds with music, music only, or nature sounds only. My favorite is the sound of the ocean below:
The Honest Guys are great if you enjoy guided meditation. They prepare you for relaxation. They have guided meditation on various topics such as stress relief, sleeping, healing, abundance mindset, and more. They also have videos with nature sounds and music if you do not want to hear the talking.
My Favorite Spiritual Gurus
Sometimes you may need some spiritual guidance in your life. We deal with a lot of stressors that can throw us off balance. It is important to learn how to better deal with these everyday stressors in order to enjoy life as much as possible.
There are many of these gurus on YouTube. The three spiritual teachers I enjoy most are:
All three talk a lot about how to free yourself from ego. To be honest, I never really understood their messages quite as well until after I finished reading A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.
Eckhart Tolle is a great place to start (read his books first) to really get a full understanding of spirituality and how to stop identifying with ego which is the cause of much unhappiness in many people’s lives.
Sadhguru has a great sense of humor and breaks down some of life’s common questions in an easy to understand manner. Mooji is a favorite because he also simplifies life’s most common issues.
What are some of your favorite YouTube channels on these topics?
