The Typical Ways to Promote Beachbody
When I joined Team Beachbody many years ago, I was following the training like all new coaches. Part of the training involved reaching out to your network which can include family, friends, and acquaintances.
I’m sure you likely went through the same process. It is not a comfortable process, even with people that you are familiar with. There is always the underlying fear of rejection.
After you have exhausted your network, the only other option is to reach out to strangers which can be terrifying for anyone.
The good news is that you do not have to do any in-person networking to obtain new leads on a daily basis. You can utilize the power of the internet and a simple website (more on that below.)
Why The Beachbody Website They Provide You is Useless
Part of your Beachbody business includes your own website that is provided by the company. The problem with this is that everyone gets the exact same copy of the website.
I refer to these type of websites as “cookie cutter” websites. Since everyone gets the exact same copy, it is nearly impossible to have your website rank in the search engines.
Therefore, you’ll need to establish your own unique website which is what a majority of Beachbody coaches do.

How to Build Your Beachbody Business Using a Sales Funnel
If I knew about sales funnels back when I started with Team Beachbody, I likely would have sold more products and grew my downline as well.
Before I dive into how you can use a sales funnel, I’ll define what one is:

Your Landing Page (Opt-In Page or Squeeze Page)
The first page of your funnel is called your landing page. On this page, you will have a free offer that will entice your visitors to input their contact information, particularly their email address.
In the example above, the incentive is a free homeowner’s guide. In your case as a Beachbody Coach, you could create a free ebook with your top health & fitness tips or offer a free video (which can be a Beachbody produced video.)
The key is to provide an incentive that is geared toward your target audience. Here are some sample headlines that could be placed on your landing page:
- How To Shed 30 Pounds By Replacing One Meal a Day
- How To Earn Income While Getting Fit
Your Thank You Page
The next page of your funnel is called the “thank you” page. On this page, you can provide a link to your free ebook, video, or even place an offer (upsell) to buy a product.

In the example above, you can even place more information about yourself and the Beachbody business opportunity.
Building Your Email List
What is the most essential part of your sales funnel is that you have now collected your visitor’s email address. Once your visitors are added to your email list, you then have permission to contact them any time you want.
You can then send promotional email messages to your list explaining the benefits of the Beachbody business opportunity as well as the products. Your subscribers can then reply to your emails as a way to reach out and ask questions.
The Benefits of a Sales Funnel for Your Beachbody Business
One thing that I want to point out is that your sales funnel can be as simple or as complex as you want. You can even have multiple sales funnels promoting different products.
Here are some of the benefits of creating a sales funnel for your Beachbody business:
Expand Your Reach
- You are no longer limited to only the people you know. You can use the internet to reach more people that are actually interested in what you’re offering. Best of all, you do not have to leave your house to do so. A sales funnel acts as your 24/7 salesperson. All that you have to do is send people to your funnel and you can do so using free methods such as the various social media platforms.
Build Your Email List
- Part of having a sales funnel means that you are also building an email list. This is crucial as your list also serves as your customer base. Meaning, you can keep promoting to your list and make sales.
Bonuses and Upsells
- You can also use a sales funnel to boost sales and convert visitors into new team members by offering a bonus or upsell. For example, “by joining Team Beachbody with me, you will be part of our insider training group”, etc.
The Easiest Way to Build Your Sales Funnel
In the past, building the simplest type of sales funnel (landing page + thank you page) would require various resources and a lot of time.

Getting Traffic To Your Funnel
Once you have your own sales funnel up, how do you get people to it? Without web traffic, your funnel is not going to do its job.
Your job is to drive as much traffic to your funnel as you can. This can be accomplished with what you are probably already doing.
You can link your funnel’s URL address in your Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook profiles. When using Instagram, let people know that they can click on the link in your bio for more free information.
Generate Free Traffic With YouTube
YouTube is one of the best free traffic generators that you can use and it is only growing. Like any content that you create, you can create helpful videos on YouTube and link to your sales funnel in your video descriptions.
Don’t worry if you are hesitant about putting yourself on video. Most people are and eventually work their way up to it and soon become quite comfortable.
However, you do not have to be in the videos to receive traffic. I use screen capture software and create slideshow presentations and provide helpful information that way. I record myself speaking as I go through each slide.
